Garage sale! Come one, come all! I'm selling lots of good things here, folks - come and get the bargains! Books, toys, models, clothes, and memories. Pieces of my altered life. Going cheap, going now, going, going gone.
See the model airplanes. Balsa, paper, paint. The memory of our older son, serious and intent, holding his plane up for final inspection. His glow when that plane he built with his own hands actually flew! I made one too... here it is. Sanded smooth and beautiful, but never papered. You can paper it yourself, folks, and paint it with your own design. Come and buy!
Baby blankets! I've got baby blankets - our youngest is 16 now. She doesn't need them any more. Do you have a baby who can cuddle here, safe and warm? She had a birthmark, you know, right in the middle of her forehead. That worried me... but it faded, eventually.

See the toys. Barbie dolls. How my girl used to love them! She would play with them for hours. And the CandyLand game. It was her first board game. Somehow, it came alive for her. She loved it. All the pieces still here, albeit a bit worn. Duplos. Blocks. Two hula hoops, with something inside to make a whirring sound when they spin.

Clothes! Good serviceable clothes. He bought this t-shirt for our girl when we went to the autoraces. The racecars on it used to be brighter, but it is still a good, serviceable shirt. Here is a dress I wore to the New Years Eve party. It doesn't fit me any more - but goodness, I looked lovely in it! And he wore this jacket - too tight for him now. Only 25 cents an item - get yourself some clothes. Yes, I know that is out of style now, but your little girl could use it for dress-up.
