PRICE OF GROCERIES

Another day in the grocery store.

My pocketbook is looking mighty poor.

Price of groceries has risen to an exorbitant price.

From dairy products to a bag of long grain rice.

Meat to bread all carry their own special barcode.

I think it should read, Manufacturer's Gold."

Another day in the grocery store.

My pocketbook is looking very poor.

My stomach rumbles of discontent.

As I watch my hard earned money spent.
