DIFFERENCE OF TEMPERATURE

The weatherman said one hundred degrees today,
But in Alaska, snow on the ground does still lay.

While I'm sweltering in this intense heat,
An igloo offers shelter for Eskimos, wearing fur boots on their feet.

Sandals allow refreshing breath to my toes, needing air.
Elsewhere in the frozen tundra, a fire is needed to warm, weather never fair.

Though I would love to make an angel or build a figure in the snow by hand..
I'll stick with my Texas weather, while the Eskimos reside in frigid land

Our temperatures might seem a little crazy to others, watching from afar.
Alaska can keep their chilling weather, my warmth is my lighting star.
