No anger of past would be a change, I might need.
Consideration of all the facts before judging.
Taking time to see all sides, taking heed.
Correct all my work, all errors smudging.
Take more of the day to observe nature again.
While taking a small break from poetry.
Seeing it takes much more faith to win.
In the desperate battle still facing me.
Walk away from hurt, letting it drift away.
Giving it all to Jesus, seeking true serenity.
Leaving the unhappy past for a brighter future stay.
Faraway from the plaguing enemy.
Things I could change are many not a few.
I will try to honor these with my whole heart.
For only with these changes can a heart beat true.
Leaving behind a new poetical start.
