UNCARING CITY

Your deadly fogs fill our lungs full of clinging dust.
This perilous life is neither fair nor just!

Toxic waste contaminates the drinking water we share.
Lead is invading our children's minds without care.

Our paved streets are littered with ruts so large.
While elected officials never seem to take charge.

City taxes remain at an all-time high.
And, "We are broke " is always your reply.

You build a new city hall without hesitation.
And approve the police department new transportation.

What about the little people who must strive ?
Couldn't you make the streets safer to drive?
