A just starting farmer needed a cow to furnish his
family, milk, cream and butter too.
All year he saved up doing odd chores to make enough money
Thriftly he hoarded all the money he could in his wooden
shoe.
Dressing in his large bib overalls with spit
shined boots.
He readied his old weatherbeaten cart to the fair for a cow for his
farm.
His hair was slicked back oil applied to the roots.
On the way to the market he met an Arabian merchant with devious
charm.
"Where are you going you fine farmer, " he asked
with a smile.
"To town to buy a cow." the farmer replied "I need milk for my
family."
"I'll give you this humpback cow, she will milk very easy," He
chuckled with beguile..
Standing before him was a humpback camel, it looked old and
weary.
The farmer looked at the camel on it there was
many kegs of milk.
Dollar signs were rolling in his greedy head.
He gave the merchant half his money, an obvious bilk.
He headed home without a cow, a foolish purchase made, it was a
humpbacked camel instead.
