FIRST FREEDOM

Water spewed everywhere; my safe haven split wide open.
For nine months I had to be raised in the shadows of my watery run.

My body was slipping backward on a slimy slide; I could barely see a gaping cavern ahead.
Outside I could heard screaming; the walls were tightening, they were red.

A cavern of light was peeking at me, just a slit.
I couldn't figure out what strange thing was happening, I must admit.

I could hardly breath; the tight chamber was suffocating, I wanted to be free.
Suddenly my eyes saw first patch of light in front of me!

Many curious beings were gazing at me, rough handling it was.
One masked creature even spanked me, I could hear a buzz.

I felt a warmness inside, a familiar voice was talking and holding me, I could feel such love.
My blurry eyes could see a bright light on the ceiling above.

I was put in a glass case after they cut my life line..
Soapy water felt so good being bathed, Oh felt so fine.

Lying in a cozy bed, I was fed a warm meal.
And I took a nice comfortable nap after my little tummy had its fill.
