MY PROTECTOR, MY ANGEL

My Protector, My Angel, Who are you that watches with eyes of luminance?
A soothing blue light is your pools of radiance.
I yearn to reach out to hold you, a silent seraph.
In your hands are neither a book nor a staff.

You appear in times my life is really in dire.
Watching over me, a robe of sapphire.
Your silence intrigues me, a mystery unfolding.
Apprehension is the emotion felt, my goading.

You carry words of wisdom, your voice so sweet.
On my bed or chair, beside me take a seat.
No movement but a gentle wave of the hand.
In your eyes I see time pass into an hourglass of sand.

When the hour of need is over, you disappear from sight.
Taking with you the soothing blue light.
I know soon you will reappear, when needed.
Knowing your presence is Heaven-Seeded.

My Protector, My Angel, Who are you that watches with eyes of luminance?
A soothing blue light is your pools of radiance.
I yearn to reach out to hold you, a silent seraph.
In your hands are neither a book nor a staff.
