Granny and Jake were a very unusual pair.
Each had a different color and texture of hair.
Both were dedicated to each other, more each
day.
Nobody could tell the most devoted along the way.
Both were handicapped one deaf, the other
blind.
Grayed from old age, better family you'd never find.
Granny and Jake could be seen, heading for the
store.
They walked together, their love was never poor.
One had four legs and the other only two.
To this puzzling riddle I offer only one clue.
They were both mammals yet they helped each other
in their own ways.
Granny and Jake were devoted companions the rest of their
days.
