DSL (or "Digital Subscriber Line") technologies allow for either
Internet or network connections up to 50x's faster than conventional
analog modems - all while utilizing existing phone lines! The basics
breakdown as follows:
"ALWAYS-ON":
With DSL there is no longer a need to "dial" in order to
establish a remote connection. When your computer is turned on, it
is automatically on-line!
WHO COULD FORGET RAW SPEED?!
Of course the largest notable feature of DSL is the speed advantages that
it brings. Boasting connections up to and in excess of 50x's the ability
of some conventional modems, DSL customers enjoy the Internet all the
more! The downloading of web pages, files, applications - you name
it - are ALL enhanced and enriched by the power of DSL.

*Minimum connection speed or
"sync-rate" (384Kbps or 1.5Mbps) is guaranteed between customer
location and World Access Communications Office. Connection speeds may be
higher under optimal conditions. Actual data transfer or
"throughput" may be lower than sync-rate due to Internet
congestion, server or router speeds, protocol overheads and other factors
which cannot be controlled by World Access Communications. Prices
based on a one year commitment.
