Christian Resources: Our Approach to Christian Education We at Abiding Vine Ministries believe there is only one reason to study the Bible; to know the mind of God – to find out what He thinks. We don't do bible studies that help people learn facts or reinforce their opinions about the Bible. Our study material is designed to change lives, to move a believer into a deeper relationship with God (by finding out what He thinks), and strengthening that relationship. Our approach to what to study is unique. We believe foundations must be established for a believer to step out on his faith. It doesn't help a believer to say that the Bible is God’s written Word if there is no foundation in his life to base that statement upon. In other words, what we do its make the Bible real in a believer’s life so that he can stand in today’s world and let his life witness without seeming fanatical (and just because, "God said it, and I believe it," isn't good enough.) Our ‘Christian Growth Series’ is the foundation of our study material. It takes a believer from point ‘A’ in his faith to point ‘B’. It challenges him to integrate what he learns into his life. From there we build upon the foundation with our ‘Spiritual Gifts’ book. The Spiritual Gifts book is designed to help a believer discover (or reaffirm) his spiritual gift. Thus making him a stronger member of the Body of Christ, and of his local church.
